Tennis!

Growing up, my grandfather loved watching and playing tennis. I even remember watching my aunt play too. I learned to play a little while visiting them, but it’s been a decade since I’ve last played (which was high school gym class). Carleigh has been loving soccer this past year, but I thought it would be fun for her to try something new for the summer. Kendall’s going to be trying it out as well, which will be the first sport for her. Needless to say, I’m excited for both!

The tennis classes the girls are going to is through the Pacific NW chapter of Unites States Tennis Association (USTA) and our local Parks & Recs.

USTA Pacific Northwest and Spokane Parks & Recreation offers fun, affordable summer programs for kids, teens, adults and seniors at every skill level. It’s a great way for you and your kids to make new friends, get active and play the lifelong sport of tennis. All tennis equipment is provided and no previous experience is necessary. Class locations are Comstock Park and Shadle Park. Classes run from June 16-August 16, 2014 and you can sign-up for one week or four-week sessions.
