Let’s take a quick look at the new Druid card, Moonglade Portal and the potential outcomes of the RNG attached to it. This is done with onlmoonglade portaly standard in mind and cards in the Wild format have not been considered.

Generally speaking, cards with a battlecry attached to them are not desirable from this card as battlecries are not triggered when summoned from a portal. The best drops are generally deathrattle or similar high-value/high stat minions. Some of the minions are a lot more desirable in certain positions but this is impossible to account for so we will generally only be considering raw stats and disregarding situational outcomes.

The best drops you can get are :

Cairne Bloodhoof, Emperor Thaurissan, Hogger, Sylvanas Windrunner, Argent Commander, Savannah Highmane, Sunwalker, Dark Arakkoa.

There is a 16% chance of getting one of these cards.

Good drops:

Bolf Ramshield, Illidan Stormrage, The Skeleton Knight, Mysterious Challenger, Sea Reaver, Skeram Cultist, Drakonid Crusher, Dread Infernal, Lord of the Arena, Temple Enforcer, Boulderfist Ogre, Reckless Rocketeer, Coldarra Drake.

There is a 24% of getting one of the above drops.

Luckily you only have a 2% chance of pulling this murloc.

Is it worth it?

While I am not sure if this card will become a staple addition to druid decks, the chances of pulling an average to above average card are way higher than the chances of summoning something with low value. However, the heal component is only 6 points of healing which is the same as a 2 mana holy light. In essence you are paying 4 mana for a random 6 drop. This seems to be worthwhile but it might be better to simply play more high-value minions unless you are finding yourself in need of healing.
