A couple of years ago I started to really focus on my weight loss. I was exercising daily, eating healthy, and it was a TON of work. At the same time, it was so worth it. I felt great. I had more energy. More importantly, I was losing weight – which is something I needed to do. I STILL need to do.

I need to be healthier for my family and myself. Show my kids how to take care of this body that God gave me.

I recently reached out to some friends about needing to buckle down and not start a diet, but really change our eating habits and start moving again. Another blogger and friend of mine suggested The Bikini Body Mommy program. It’s basically a 90-day program that includes a meal plan & exercise. I don’t see this as my diet. I see it as 90-days to form new habits. To gain new meal ideas and to start losing weight.

The meal plan is very similar to a Paleo lifestyle. Which I’m not planning on doing 100%, because I know me, and it’s just TOO MUCH, and why I fell of the wagon last time. This time, I’m focusing on just cutting out grains as much as possible, but I still eat dairy and a little sugar, coffee, and even pizza if we go to Costco. I am however eating out WAY less. I cut out soda and sweet tea, and I’m focusing on not eating late at night.

Sleep is something I need to work on as well, and MORE water.

We threw out whatever Halloween candy was left. Went all week with no desserts or treats, and so I wanted to treat us all tonight.

This is a delicious, grain free, guilt free dessert that everyone will love. It’s super simple to make, and I know you’ll enjoy it as much as we did!
